Services

Community Based Outpatient treatment services are delivered by GCADAC staff. There is an array of options to participate in these services for adults and youth. The client completes the assessment with a GCADAC counselor and then they work together to create a service plan which meets the needs of the client and allows them to take steps to reaching goals necessary for achieving a brighter future for the client.

Drug testing is a service which is primarily a component of the various Treatment and intervention services. Drug testing is also done as a service of Employee Assistance program and other contractual arrangements.

The Prevention services are developed to address the local county substance use concern and put together annually into a county prevention plan. Some of the programs delivered have come about as a component of a state wide effort to address some of the risk factors while others are unique to the community. PREP and the Youth Access to Tobacco Survey are two of the programs conducted throughout the state.
